How does BidSync address the issues of security, compliance and maverick spending?Automatic email and fax notifications will speed up the government contract bid approval process and create electronic audit trails to help ensure all processes and budgetary compliance requirements are being met correctly. The BidSync Builder™ solution also allows for multiple levels of approval.
How are you different from your competitors?BidSync is unique in the fact that we offer both our robust BidSync Builder™ application (for agencies and organizations) as well as our BidSync Links™ and BidSync Links PLUS™ bid notification service for our vendors. Most companies in our industry will only offer one or the other.
Who has access to BidSync Builder™ once my agency or organization begins using it?You will determine each user that has access, and what permissions he/she will have.
How are vendors notified of new bid solicitations?Each registered vendor will receive an email or fax notification once a solicitation has been posted by the issuing government entity. Each notification is based on the vendor’s selection commodity code(s) in their registered profile and/or if the agency invites them.
When creating a bid solicitation, can I attach documents?You are able to upload and attach any number of documents, of any file type or size. This feature allows your government procurement agency or purchasing organization to offer comprehensively detailed bid solicitations. These details aide in simplifying the contract creation and management side of the procurement process after the contract is awarded.
How can I get my vendors registered with BidSync?Vendors can be entered into the BidSync family of solutions in several ways including direct entry by either the agency or vendor. BidSync will often import the vendor or supplier information from the agency database. However, even if the agency or BidSync adds the vendor or supplier information, for privacy and compliance reasons we require the supplier to complete the registration themselves. In this way, agencies or organizations without the latest information do not propagate bad information into our system which may be used by other agencies. This helps us to accurately deliver timely bids to vendors and suppliers, and to ensure that all agencies have access to the best possible goods and services at competitive prices from the widest range of vendors.
