Radar Vehicle Sensing Device Assembly (RVSDA) with Wireless Ethernet Communication RFP 10-109-MA NOTICE TO BIDDERS The City of Lubbock hereby notifies all bidders that in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, it is the policy of the Department of Transportation (DOT) that disadvantaged business enterprises as defined in 49 CFR Part 26 shall have the maximum opportunity to participate in the performance of contracts financed in whole or in part with federal funds. All bidders shall make good faith efforts, as defined in Appendix A of 49 CFR Part 26 to subcontract 1.00% of the dollar value of the prime contract to small business concerns owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals (DBE). Details of such requirement are contained in the specifications. The proposed contract is subject to the Buy American provision details of such requirement are contained in the specifications. The proposed contract is under and subject to Executive Order 11246 and the Equal Opportunity Clause. The bidder's attention is called to the Equal Opportunity Clause and the Standard Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Construction Contract Specifications, and the Notice of Requirement of Affirmative Action to Ensure Equal Employment Opportunity set forth in the specifications. The successful bidder will be required to submit a Certification of Nonsegregated Facilities prior to award of the contract and to notify prospective subcontractors of the requirement. The certification is contained in the specifications. The bidder is hereby notified that Federal Highway Administration and Federal Transit Administration funds are used for this procurement. Please comply with the City of Lubbock Background Questionnaire and the Conflict of Interest requirements. |
